ABxCD - Application Builder by Clive Dean.
This is version 1.0 released September 1995.
ABxCD version 1.0 is provided free of charge and may be freely distributed
providing all the files listed below are not modified and form part of the
distribution.
ABxCD is a rapid application development tool designed to make building
new applications fast and easy. At each stage of developement the new
application may be tried out and tested (prototyping).
ABxCD may be hard disk installed; simply copy all files to a directory
on your hard disk. A hard disk installation is advised since all disk I/O
is done in 32kb blocks.
ABxCD will run on all Amigas with AmigaDOS 1.3 or higher with at least
one megabyte of memory. You may experience problems if run on an Amiga
with only one megabyte; if so, rename lowmem.ini to abxcd.ini to adjust
the memory requirements.
ABxCD normally expects an 8 colour workbench screen; use the csmap=4colour
option if you have a 4 colour screen (see startup.doc).
File list:-
ABxCD executable program
ABxCD.b0 demo database part b0
ABxCD.b1 demo database part b1
ABxCD.b0.info demo database icon
lowmem.ini Initialisation file for 1 Mb machines
readme this file
startup.doc how to run ABxCD document
utils sub-directory of useful data files
Most documentation is to be found in the on-line hypertext of the demo
database; just press the help key. The demo database contains example
applications that are designed to show off most of the features of ABxCD.
The intention is that you learn by example, not by having to read a manual.
